About this opportunity:
Are you an aspiring AI engineer who wants to turn emerging technology into practical solutions for Ericsson Radio? We are looking for a curious, hands-on intern who is ready to develop AI tools, connect systems, and help colleagues adopt new ways of working. During the internship, you are expected to deliver working AI tools or prototypes, enable efficient staff onboarding, and contribute to tangible process improvements.
You will join a collaborative and innovative team focused on integrating AI into Ericsson’s operations, technology, and strategy. The team works to strengthen AI competence, streamline decision-making, and deploy advanced AI tools for the Radio AI project. This internship will help accelerate tool development, staff onboarding, and process improvement.
For this internship we are looking for a student who is interested in part-time work outside of their studies.
What you will do:
Develop and prototype AI tools and solutions for the Radio AI project.- Build scripts and automation that improve engineering workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate AI services and engineering systems through REST APIs.
- Evaluate AI-supported processes and translate findings into practical improvements.
- Support cloud-based deployment of LLM-enabled solutions.
- Create clear onboarding material and help colleagues build confidence in using AI tools.
- Collaborate across technical areas, share learning, and turn ideas into measurable outcomes.
The skills you bring:
Currently pursuinng your bachelor or master´s in computer science, engineerng physics, machine learning or related field.- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Shell, or CMD.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integration.
- Familiarity with agentic IDEs such as Cursor, Kiro, or Copilot is a plus.
- Knowledge of AWS, cloud-based LLM deployment, and networking fundamentals is a plus
- A problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly in a collaborative environment.
- Motivation to tackle complex technical challenges and create practical, high-impact AI solutions.
