How you will make an impact
· You will be leading a team of 10-15 engineers in our high voltage bushing factory, focusing on supporting the daily operations (tendering, quality, production, supply chain etc.).
· You are responsible for competence planning and execution, which includes coaching your team to continuously improve business performance. You will also oversee resource planning.
· Provide insight and develop priorities for engineering tasks, while ensuring that quality and delivery goals are met.
· Set priority of tasks and ensure that our complex products meet set quality standards and legal requirements.
· You will be reporting to the bushing engineering manager, and together establish engineering standards, support continuous improvement activities and manage budgetary controls. You will also be engaged in creating the development of an engineering strategy that is in line with the organization’s vision.
Your background
· University degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
· Previous experience from Engineering or R&D
· Knowledge in transformers or transformer components is preferred.
· Some years of managerial experience is a merit.
· You are skilled at managing different types of people, able to coach as well as motivate and inspire others
· Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
