About Float Finance
Float lends to European tech companies without taking equity, over €100M deployed to 130+ companies since 2022 (including RoomPriceGenie and RedTrack), and we're now building full business banking on top of that, plus an AI-native financial platform. We closed a €4.5M round in July, backed by Chapters Group, and we're already profitable. We're a small, fast-moving team of around ten, and we lean heavily on AI tools like Claude and Cursor in our daily work.
About the Position
You'll own how our product looks, behaves, and feels, from lending to banking to our new AI analyst feature. Day to day, you'll:
Own UX and UI across our lending, banking, and AI analyst products, end to end
Build and evolve our design system from the ground up: components, tokens, documentation
Take work from wireframe to a real, working, interactive prototype, not just a Figma file
Define and track how we actually measure product success
Work directly with our founders and engineers to ship, not just hand off
We believe you:
Have built or significantly grown a design system from scratch, not just followed one someone else made
Prototype in working, interactive form, beyond static mockups
Are comfortable with product measurement and analytics, not just intuition
Are motivated by ownership and shipping, not by having a big design team around you
Use AI tools like Claude, Cursor, or Figma Make at real depth, that's how we work here
It's also nice if you have:
Fintech, lending, or payments experience
Experience designing AI-powered features
Experience as the sole or founding designer at an earlier-stage company
