We are looking for a senior IBM Maximo lead developer who can own development and incident management, lead a team, work closely with business and product owners, and design integrations, with strong hands‑on expertise in Maximo (MAS), MBO, MIF, and enterprise integrations.
- Industrial Maintenance and Shopfloor Services IT Group
The Industrial Maintenance and Shopfloor Services IT group specialises in two primary areas supporting global IT applications for production maintenance and delivering scalable IT hardware solutions to Scanias shopfloor.
The current team includes service managers architects analysts data engineers and developers. Youll be joining the team responsible for industrial maintenance applications where a senior position is needed to oversee development and incident management for the MAXIMO product.
Your typical responsibilities may involve:
- Leading the developer team
- Engaging with customers at production units as well as the Product Owner
- Helping the business describe incidents or drafting requirements for suppliers
- Assisting the architect with detailed design choices
- Taking part in development projects
- 1 IBM Maximo Domain Knowledge
- Strong experience with IBM Maximo preferably Maximo Application Suite MAS Maximo Manage
- Experience in configuring and customizing applications objects domains and workflows
- Good understanding of the Maximo Business Object MBO Framework
- Experience working with Security Groups roles and data restrictions
- Handson experience with Database Configuration and Object Structures
- Solid experience with the Maximo Integration Framework MIF
- Ability to identify and resolve both functional and technical issues in Maximo
- Strong experience with the Maximo Integration Framework MIF
- Experience integrating Maximo with external systems using:
o REST APIs
o SOAP web services
o Messaging and integration platforms
- Experience with Kafka or other eventstreaming platforms is an advantage
- Experience with middleware solutions such as ESB and API gateways
- Key Qualities of a Maximo Lead Developer
- Strong technical knowledge of the MBO Framework and MIF
- Experience designing and delivering enterpriselevel integrations
- Ability to lead guide and mentor development teams
- Strong social and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers architects business stakeholders and vendors
- Structured solutionoriented and comfortable taking technical ownership
