About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and creative Social Media Manager to join our growing agency in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Vekst is a digital growth agency that works with global B2B clients. Here, you’ll join a team of platform and content experts who work every day to grow our clients’ capabilities alongside their own.
As Social Media Manager, you will work as part of the content team, collaborating with content specialists to ideate, manage, and publish on behalf of our B2B clients. This role requires a keen and sharp mind. From planning and scheduling content to reporting on performance and making data-driven recommendations, you will need to have a good eye for numbers – and creative. Some light editing tasks such as cropping images, resizing visuals, or trimming videos is required.
Here, structure and creativity go hand-in-hand. Whether you’re cooking up award-worthy Excel sheets or zooming in on an image to make sure it’s juuust right, you will have the opportunity to shape this new role, furthering your skills in content and planning.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and publish social media content across multiple platforms using tools like Sprout Social, Meltwater, or Salesforce Social Studio.
- Manage and maintain content calendar, ensuring all posts are timely, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing, design, and client teams to ensure content consistency and brand alignment.
- Perform basic content editing, including:
- Cropping and formatting images for different platforms.
- Trimming and optimizing short video clips.
- Adding subtitles or light graphics as needed.
- Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and prepare regular reports on channel growth and content performance.
- Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices.
- Own community management, responding to comments and messages when needed, both directly in platforms and through social management tools.

Qualifications & Skills

2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for brands or within an agency setting.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools such as Sprout Social, Meltwater, or Salesforce Social Studio.
- Familiarity with standard design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, TheBrief (previously Creatopy) or Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a sharp eye for visual detail.
- Analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting social media data and turning insights into action.
- Experience in B2B marketing or working with multiple client brands is a plus.
- Comfortable communicating in Swedish and English.
