At Shopit we are developing a large-scale online consumer Shopping Search Engine for all of Europe. Our goal is to make all products, brands and retailers searchable in one shopping search engine. To achieve this we are using the latest technologies within data mining, big data, data analysing, parallel processing, search engine logic and social shopping functionality together with modern web design and user experience for both web and mobile devices.
We are now looking for more really talented people to strengthen our development team!
You will be responisble for working with our frontend web systems serving potentially millions of users. Therefore it is important that you have experience from building large-scale websites with high performance in different platforms and keeping up to date with the latest in web best practice.
You should have 3+ years of documented knowledge of creating frontend web interfaces using:
- HTML/CSS
- JS (ES6), NodeJs
- React, (Webpack, Borwserify)
- Preferrably also PHP/MySQL and/or Java
Apart from technical skills it would be a strong plus if you should also have a good web design knowledge using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
You will be working full-time as a developer together with the rest of our dedicated team in Kiev, Ukraine and Växjö, Sweden.
Although we have teams in both Sweden and Ukraine we belive in working as much as possible on-site together here at our office in Sweden. Threfore you need to be able to travel and work ca 40-45% of the time in Växjö, Sweden. If everything works well it’s also possible to get a work-permit in Sweden to move and work here permanently for you and your family.
